   I thought it was a well known fact that Dean was bi-sexual. According to many questionable sources practically every other actor in Hollywood was gay or bi-sexual in the 1950s.

   I always thought he was Bi also.. I don’t know maybe I read in Hollywood Babylon & I just thought it was 1 of their claims that actually had some merit.

   I am guessing that this is done to go along with the whole anti-bully campaign that is the latest trend in parenting. It seems the idea that mass marketing can show that Popular Icons were not “normal” than it will catch on.

   Don’t get me wrong, Bullying is a serious thing at times, but I guess I remember when it wasn’t trendy to be so “openly gay’. People were just people & you accepted them.

   I read about Dean’s bi-sexuality in respectable biographies Erika. Hollywood Babylon is a book that makes me feel like washing my hands after I’ve touched it.
   Yes it’s almost trendy to be a gay celebrity these days but in everyday life gay people (especially at school and college age) can be subjected to terrible bullying.
