   I think all that obsessive cleanliness may have been a psychological response to his many dirty dealings with his Mafia friends. Trying to wash away his sins.
   From all accounts he was a good friend but a nasty enemy. And he was talented… 🙂

   Yeah, I agree, Paul. Wash away the dirt…many talented people have their skeletons and quirks…Frank Sinatra was no different.
