More On Jennifer Grant’s Relationship With Her Dad…

I posted an article about Jennifer Grant’s new book a few days ago, but I thought I’d share another article today. A little more in-depth than the previous one, her memories exude love and warmth. It’s a wonderful story of a father/daughter relationship that was, well – ย normal! What a welcome change to hear from the daughter of a Hollywood icon, not trashing him, not spreading ugly stories that can’t be defended from beyond the grave, not wanting to make a quick-buck off her father’s name by writing a scandalous tell-all, but honoring him as a loving, caring, hands-on father.

So rare in Hollywood…well done, Jennifer Grant and CONGRATULATIONS on the book!

My Personally Signed Bookplates Will Soon Be Available!

As an author, obviously, I’m often asked to sign my books. I absolutely love doing this and I SO appreciate the people who spend their hard earned dollars on my work. However, sending a book to sign from America or England to Australia and back again, costs around $30 roundtrip.

Postage is very expensive!

So, in order to cut costs down for the people who DO want my autograph, I’ve ordered specially printed bookplates.

These book plates have a peel-off backing, just like a sticker. They’re custom designed and printed and can be placed in your copy of my book for only $5 (Australian Dollars), INCLUDING postage – ANYWHERE in the world! Please note, the $5 only covers my printing costs, as well as postage to you.ย I do NOT charge for my autograph.

So far, I’ve only ordered 100 of these bookplates, just to see how it goes…

If you’d like a signed book plate, you can pay via Paypal – mvozus@gmail.com. And, be sure to send your name and address details with your $5 payment.

*FYI – The bookplates won’t be available for approx. two weeks from the date of this posting.

Grauman’s Original Footprints FOUND!

A jaw-dropping snippet from the article at the link below…

“…I have no interest in giving them back to Grauman’s,” said Nick Olaerts, a former Hollywood developer who claims to own the slabs. “Decades ago, I had wanted to give them back to Grauman’s, a donation in the name of my children, but the theater’s owner at the time, Ted Mann, wasn’t interested in taking them back…”

The Debbie Reynolds Hollywood Costume Auction is ON!

Okay, this is BIG news!

As a fan of Classic Hollywood this auction is as exciting as a decade of Christmases for me! ๐Ÿ™‚ Amazingly, Debbie Reynolds, renowned actress and long-time collector of Hollywood costumes, has amassed so many items during her thirty years of collecting, it’s estimated that it will take at least TWO YEARS to sell it all! Even with that amount of time to save…sadly, I don’t think I’ll be able to afford a sequin off a Marilyn Monroe dress, but hey, I can dream, right? ๐Ÿ˜‰

Be sure to check out the links below for pictures and more auction info.
