I hope everyone realizes what an amazing bargain this is for fans. Plenty of times McFarland writers are told how expensive our books are – as if we have control over pricing. So today’s a day to stop complaining because the reader is getting a bargain (if you own a Kindle) and the author is getting under 50 cents for each book sold. Name another profession where the worker is valued so cheaply.
Yeah, it’s unfortunate that our royalty drops with the sales price…but I guess it’s not so bad IF one million e-books were sold at the reduced rate…LOL! I hope people do take advantage of the sale. It’s an amazing price.
